An amazing story behind Melissa’s tattoo of Otis the pug. Such an awesome pug and reminds us why pugs are the best!
I waited almost eight years to get that tattoo in fear that it would look just like a pug and not my baby boy I am so glad that I waited because she did a fantastic job, and had the most soothing calming energy. It was an awesome experience. Otis was the love of my life, he was with me for 16 years 1 month and four days. He was my best friend, my son, my moon, my stars and my universe. I often refer to him as my teacher. Otis taught me the meaning of unconditional love. He was a cancer survivor and he was so brave and fearless he taught me many lessons in life. I was devastated when I lost him but because he was such an awesome companion I now have four other Pugs two of which are rescues and I also volunteer with Pug rescue a Florida.
