As pug and pug tattoo lovers, we support the UK charity, the Pug Dog Welfare and Rescue Association, here at Lucky Pug. Just to give a brief background of the charity, it was first established in 1973 under a name of the Pug Dog Welfare Association, until it was changed to its current name in 2000.
We recently attended the charity’s Annual garden party in Sandbach in North West England, where we saw at least 200 pugs attending with their owners. It really was awesome to see so many beautiful pugs in one place at one time. You can see us on youtube in a short video from this event below.
This Christmas, the Pug Dog Welfare and Rescue Association are holding a Christmas party event, ‘Big Top Christmas Party’. The event will be held at King George V Playing Feilds, Heybridge, Nr Maldon in Essex, UK on Sat 10 November. For just £1, it is sure to be a fun day out for both you as pug lovers and the pugs. There will be food, games, competitions with prizes & the one and only Santa Paws!
These charity events are so important to raise money and awareness for the Pug Dog Welfare and Rescue. There are so many pugs waiting for their forever home and the Team really do a brilliant job in helping this happen. Go to the Pug Welfare and Rescue Association website for more information on this charity event.
