All pug tattoo are awesome, but today we had to share this funny story, which led to a quirky and unique pug tattoo. It’s a tattoo on the arm of Matt Lowe from Barnsley in the UK. We’re sure you’ll love it as much as we do!

Here is my tattoo of my pug, Doug.  It was tattooed by the american artist Cecil Porter whilst doing a guest spot at Thou Art in Sheffield.  It is on my the outside of my forearm.  It was a bit of a spur of the moment thing.  I had been booked in with Cecil for a few month and was originally going to get a portrait of Sweeney Todd.  A week or so before my appointment, we got Doug the Pug.  I took him to see Nigel, my regular tattooist and it was him that gave me the idea to get a tattoo of Doug.  I knew I didn’t want a regular portrait so we threw a few ideas around and when Nigel shouted Pug Fiction I instantly knew that was the one.  I spoke with Cecil and he was really up for doing it.  He messed about with a few ideas on photoshop and this is what he came up with.
